Karl has over a decade in the security industry, turning ideas into successful products. Passionate about problem-solving, he works closely with customers and partners to ensure market fit. As CEO and founder of Sharlic, he leads strategy, focusing on growth, innovation, and partnerships. He holds a double M.Sc from Chalmers University in industrial engineering and innovation management, with additional studies at UC Berkeley and Stanford.

Ahmed, co-founder of Sharlic, is a senior full-stack engineer with 10+ years in cloud-based solutions. As Head of Engineering, he oversees product development, focusing on backend architecture and software quality. He holds an M.Sc in Information and Communication Engineering from Lund University and has founded two successful IT consultancies.

Fredrik Larsson
Head of System Security / Co-Founder
Fredrik, co-founder of Sharlic, is a senior engineer with 20+ years in software development and expertise in security. He spent over a decade at Axis Communications as a system architect and helped establish its Software Security Group. As Head of System Security, he ensures robust architecture and cybersecurity compliance. He also founded a consultancy serving major Swedish enterprises. Fredrik holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science from Lund University.

Niklas Hjern

Niklas, Head of Customer Success at Sharlic, is a software engineer with a passion for product development and customer interactions. Previously a solution architect for a major security integrator, he joined Sharlic to tackle the challenges of manual license renewals. He oversees onboarding, integrations, and ensures customer-driven product development. Niklas holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Lund University.

Joakim Bengtson
Head of UX / Senior Advisor
Joakim is a seasoned entrepreneur with years of experience in building software companies and a passion for usability. He founded Lime Technologies (publ). He has been an investor, advisor, and board member in many tech companies. Joakim invested early in Sharlic, liked the team and product, and offered operational support. As Head of UX, he ensures a user-friendly look and feel for frontend development. He also advises the leadership team on strategic, tactical, and organizational issues.
